BUSAN

Busan is the second largest city in Korea
after Seoul and is located on south-east side.


--Main events in its history


Busan's history contains when government plans city and a pain of separation between the North Korea and South Korea caused by war.


From the beginning of the fifteenth century, the Korean government designated Busan as a trading port.

Busan was one of only two cities in South Korea which are not captured by the North Korea army within the first three months of the Korean War, as a result the city became a refugee camp site during the war.

The PIFF(Pusan International Film Festival) is held on autumn every year.

Since the first festival in 1996, Festival has been larger and has become well-known that attracts film-loving tourists from all over East Asia and the world.






--main positive features of the place has



Busan has a locational adventage for trading, which is located near Japan and America.

Therefore it is the largest port city in South Korea.




--any difficulties or problems the place has


Nowadays, the population of city become decreasing. because busan's a birth rate is getting lower, And people are moving other citys for getting a job.


--main tourist attractions



Busan is called the summer capital of Korea. Because there are many beatiful beach. Especially Haeundae and Gwangalli Beach is one of the most famous beaches for korea and have cafes,bars,restaurants, and luxury hotels along the beach.


Jagalchi Market(near part of the very active port) is well-known for fish market.

There are so many fresh seafoods.

Also Busan is known as baseball city and has a very enthusiastic baseball fans.

  2. I lived near Busan for a long time, so I know Busan rather than Seoul,and I want to show people Busan is also attractive city which is different from Seoul!!
