Writing Homework - a recipe -

I'm going to introduce one of the delicious food called "Buchimgae" in korea. If u listen to Buchimgae, u hear that for the first time, Simply It is Korean style pan cake. It is easy to cook even if u can't cook well.


-the Recipe of Buchimgae-

ingredients
:Korea pan cake powder 250g, Water 200ml, egg 50g, oil 15ml, soy sauce 15ml, spring onion 10g


Instructions

1. Chop spring onion as a appropriate size.

2. Put water,powder, egg prepared in advance, spring onion cut into a bowl.

3. Stir it slowly until well blended. (If a dough is too wet, add small amounts of powder, If a dough is too dry, add a little water)

4. Heat frying pan , and put oil into pan.

5. Put dough into hot frying pan, and when the edges turn brown, turn it over.

6. Eat with soy sauce

The Union Jack - Presentation Work

At first, I'm intereted in all countries's the flag, and as I came to London, I wondered how the flag of the uk was made, What meaning it was included. That why i've chosen the Union Jack as a presentation's topic.

The Union Flag, populary known as the Union Jack, is the national flag of the United Kingdom. It symbolises the union of the countries of the United Kingdom. It is made up of the individual Flags of three of the Kingdom's countries all united under one Sovereign- Enlgand,Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The colour on the Union Jack consists of White,Red and Blue. There are different meanings each colours. White means peace and honesty. Red means hardiness,bravery and strength. Blue means vigilance, truth and loyalty and justice.

The countries representing the UK are still united under one flag. However each of the countries which form the UK, is fighting for its own independence. For the first time since 1707, the Scottish now have their own Parliament in Edinburgh, and the Welsh their own national assembly in Cardiff. As a result, the Scottish saltire and the red dragon of Wales are much more in evidence.

I don't know why are they fighting for their independence. The person in the UK have many common cultures even if they live in their own area such as Scotland,Enlgand,Ireland, and If they united , They would become a big country which affectd other countries. I'm intereted in the UK's problem , because my country was also divided each two countries by a war . I hope this problem will be solved positively.

Memory

I went to Munich, Germany ,with my friends during the last holiday.

As soon as we arrived there by train in the early morning , the weather was so cloudy. It seems to rain soon. When we started to go sight-seeing, It rained as if the sky waited for us. However we enjoyed that situation, and then we went around city by walking, tube. Unlike weather, our trip proceeded very smoothly , we could find the historical place from using a guide book for a short time, and even take tube with corret direction that the most confused thing as I took it. Therefore, we travelled quickly in city without any uncomfort. So we had the time to take a rest for taking a shower in our accomodation which saved luggage in the morning . Besides in the afternoon, the weather was getting good. so we was able to enjoy our trip.

Munich I saw is very well-organized city, and has a good transportation such as s-bahn,u-bahn,tram,bus. Especially train's station and inside are neat and quiet big. The most impressful thing is normal street's condition. The street is very clean beyond my thought. At that time I thought the citizenship was well-educated about cleanliness.

When i see the clean street, it reminds me of Munich's. Now my memory of Munich still stays in mind.

Writing Homework 10.05.2010

If I hadn't had enough time, I wouldn't have come to London. To tell someone the reason why I came to London is still difficult and sensitive for me.
I had stayed for couple of months at the army hospital last year. To be short, I had a health problem when I was in the army, and then I stopped doing military service. Normally we have to stay for two years, as a result, I had more time than other friends.
My parents suggested I came to London and gave me an advice about studying English in English country. Finally I came to London at the 1st of January.

BUSAN

Busan is the second largest city in Korea
after Seoul and is located on south-east side.

--Main events in its history

Busan's history contains when government plans city and a pain of separation between the North Korea and South Korea caused by war.

From the beginning of the fifteenth century, the Korean government designated Busan as a trading port.

Busan was one of only two cities in South Korea which are not captured by the North Korea army within the first three months of the Korean War, as a result the city became a refugee camp site during the war.

--any recent changes

The PIFF(Pusan International Film Festival) is held on autumn every year.

Since the first festival in 1996, Festival has been larger and has become well-known that attracts film-loving tourists from all over East Asia and the world.

--main positive features of the place has

Busan has a locational adventage for trading, which is located near Japan and America.

Therefore it is the largest port city in South Korea.

--any difficulties or problems the place has

Nowadays, the population of city become decreasing. because busan's a birth rate is getting lower, And people are moving other citys for getting a job.

--main tourist attractions

Busan is called the summer capital of Korea. Because there are many beatiful beach. Especially Haeundae and Gwangalli Beach is one of the most famous beaches for korea and have cafes,bars,restaurants, and luxury hotels along the beach.

Jagalchi Market(near part of the very active port) is well-known for fish market.

There are so many fresh seafoods.

Also Busan is known as baseball city and has a very enthusiastic baseball fans.

Writing 50 Words Story

I invited friend who often conflicted with me. I prepared delicious foods. We ate food quickly, And I entered the kitchen to made something to drink. After few minutes, I severed it to him. When he drunk, I stood a laugh. Because what he drunk mixed honey and a taffy.

My name is SangWoo Kim. I'm from South Korea. I'm 20 years old.

I'm shy, and it is difficult to speak directly as my intention and to refuse someone's require. However I like to meet with my friends outside.


I'm intereted in watching and playing sports. Especially I Iike football and basketball game. My dream is also associated with that. I'm just dreaming to be a sports analysis researcher. That is just my Dream. Although I couldn't , I hope to be a sports analysis researcher someday.

I had studied in university before I came here. My major is Information Technolgy which is associated with English. There are many English words in IT book, and almost teacher told us
that to study English is important. If I study in English , it helps me to understand a lot of things and to get the well-paid job. That's reason why did I come here.

My family is father, mother, one younger sisther, one younger brother and me. I think my father is the proudest person. He is generous. He run his own company, and he is familar with worker I know. My mother helps him to work as like financial manager. She often does volunteer work. She always worries about me. In my country, first son is very important position, and parents expect them. So i also have a lot of task about dealing with my siblings. Instead of parents I give them punishment such as saying strictly and sometimes hit them, and I help them to teach some homework or to ready for exam. Therefore the relationship between me and siblings is even more familar and closer than others. Someday I had a serious health problem 1 years ago. I felt very depressed and sad. At that time family are really worried about me. That is motivated to overcome health. I always appreciate about that. I really love my family...
